About PJR

Paul Raymond started out as the tea boy in his uncle's fireplace shop. He went off to college to train as an electrician, then came back to work for his uncle, who put him through his HETAS training more than 20 years ago. He's been designing and fitting fireplaces and Stoves ever since.

That mix is what makes PJR different: a fireplace specialist who's also a trained electrician, so Media Walls, inset electric Fires and lighting are planned and wired by the same person who builds them. Over the years the work has grown from Stoves and fireplaces into Media Walls and whole-home projects, from new floors and kitchens to full refurbishments, with a small team of trusted trades, including Gas Safe registered engineers for any gas work.

Today PJR is based in Northampton, working for homeowners locally and for private clients right across the UK. The business has grown the old-fashioned way, by doing the job properly and being recommended, which is why the logo says it: Built on Reputation.
